The Flower Passage 
The Flower Passage is a historical arcade located in Istiklal Avenue. It holds the heritage importance of Istanbul. This arcade has a number of cafes and restaurants. Originally, a famous theater of this arcade got burnt in fire few years but after that incident, it has become more popular among the tourists. This exquisite piece of architecture was named “Flower Passage” because of a woman who used to sell flowers after the Russian revolution in 1917. One must enjoy his meal under the roof of this historical building.

Galata Mevlevi Museum 
Another interesting place to be visited in Istiklal Street is Galata Mevlevi Whirling Dervish House and Museum. The museum, holding a long and revered history, was founded in 1491. It was replaced and built again after getting burnt. Galata Mevlevi Museum was built in a tribute to a ceremony where whirling dervishes had been practicing spinning in deep prayer trance. The museum has displayed a number of artifacts, documents and historical props from a number of years in order to keep the memories of the ceremony alive.

The Atlas Arcade

The Atlas Arcade, known as Atlas Pasaji, is an integral landmark of the city and its locals. It was built in 1870s but due to the fire damage, it was also renovated. It is a great stop for a tourist to get a break from the traditional locations of the city, as it hosts a cinema and a number of shops to be shopped at.
